The BDC Sales Agent responds to Internet customer inquiries and ensures that the dealership actualizes its maximum profit potential on Internet sales. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Duties

• Communicates effectively with Internet customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication, whether by phone, by email or in person.
• Has thorough knowledge of all dealership products and services.
• Directs customers to product information resources, including those available on the Internet.
• Checks email frequently and responds to inquiries immediately. Delivers messages intended for other departments promptly. Notifies customers that their messages have been forwarded to the appropriate personnel for prompt attention.
• Handles all Internet sales inquiries personally.
• Maintains an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business.
• Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories etc., and their benefits to customers.
• Attends product and sales training as requested by manager and manufacturer.
• Attends sales meetings when required.
• Ensure all assigned tasks are cleared daily.
• Follow all SOAG policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive client experience.
• Be coachable in improving skills to meet expectations set by SOAG.
• Adhere to work schedule as assigned.
• Maintains professional appearance.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior sales, call center, internet department or BDC experience preferred.

• Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

• Must be willing to complete a background and drug test.
